50/50 Raffle Ticket Seller - Miami Marlins (Miami, FL)

The Marlins Foundation is looking for high-energy, motivated sellers to join our 50/50 Raffle sales team for the 2017 Season. Through the Marlins Foundation 50/50 Raffle, fans have the opportunity to win raffle earnings at Marlins home games and make a difference in the lives of South Florida’s youth. The 50/50 Raffle ticket sellers are responsible for selling 50/50 raffle tickets to Marlins Park attendees, serve as an ambassador of the Marlins Foundation, responsible for setting up the 50/50 raffle stations and hand-held machines, and accurately handle the sale and distribution of tickets while following program requirements. Must be able to multi-task and have excellent verbal communication. Must be able to stay in one stationary position for long periods of time as well as interact with guests throughout the ballpark. Required to work extended hours, weekends and holidays according to baseball/events schedule. Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred. Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Ticket Operations Event Staff - Miami Marlins (Miami, FL)

Position Summary:

The Ticket Operations Event Staff position is responsible for selling tickets, distributing will-call and servicing our guests at all Marlins home games and Marlins Park events with the highest degree of courtesy, professionalism, and enthusiasm.

Essential Functions:

  • Selling tickets at the Ticket Office windows
  • Distributing will- call tickets
  • Servicing all guests with the highest degree of courtesy, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
  • Serve as greeters to customers outside the Ticket Office windows.

Qualifications & Requirements:             

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Detail oriented, organized and ability to multi task.
  • Required to work extended hours, weekends and holidays according to baseball/events schedule.
  • Cash handling experience
  • Must be able to stay in one stationary position for long periods of time.

Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of customer service and/or box office experience is preferred.
  • Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Guest Services Event Staff - Miami Marlins (Miami, FL)

Position Summary: 

The Guest Services Event Staff will serve as one of the primary points of contact for all Marlins Park guests during games, special events, and tours. 
 

Essential Functions:

  • Proactively greet guests at Marlins Park gates and ticket lines with a friendly greeting and a smile
  • Scan game tickets insuring that the proper ticket is being used to gain entry
  • Assist fans in locating their ticketed seats
  • Proactively provide assistance, answer questions and communicate security measures along with special event/ballpark information to guests
  • Provide wheelchair assistance to guests
  • Being alert to potential hazards in the ballpark such as foul balls and reporting incidents
  • Monitor your assigned area for issues and opportunities to make lasting memories for our guests
  • Receive and quickly act upon requests or complaints from guests; refer serious problems to supervisory staff.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to deliver exceptional customer service, to all guests as well as internal staff, via face-to-face interaction and/or telephone.

Qualifications & Requirements:          

  •   Required to work extended hours, weekends and holidays according to baseball/special events schedule.
  • Must be able to stay in one stationary position for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work outdoors during all times of the year.
  • Must be able to work all posts assigned, this includes but not limited to gates, interior, and exterior positions.
  •  A minimum of (1) year of customer/guest services experience is required.
  • Must be able to interface well with all levels of the organization and represent the team in a highly professional manner.

Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:

  • High school diploma or GED required, seeking college degree preferred  
  • Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Security Officer (Part-Time) - Miami Marlins, LP (Miami, FL)

The Security Officer (Part-time) is responsible for the incident reporting, and general security operations directly associated with protecting the facility, its patrons, employees and interest of the organization. This includes the protection of all Ballpark infrastructure and assets. Security officer personnel will complete required training, work varying schedules, investigate incidents, complete reports, and patrol the facility. This includes being proficient in operating security systems, including two-way radios, CCTVs, and screening systems. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to function well during a critical or emergency incident are required. Must be able to work weekends, nights, holidays, and overnight shifts. Fluently bilingual English / Spanish a plus. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement, Criminology or a related field preferred. Candidate should have a background in corporate security, loss prevention or law enforcement and operating within a diverse workforce at major public venues. A minimum of (3) years of experience in Security/Law Enforcement or a related field is required.
